SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS2.1 InstallationCAUTION!The appliance must be installed byqualified personnel only.• Remove the packaging material.• Do not install or use the appliance ifdamaged.• Comply with the instructions suppliedwith the appliance.• Always pay attention when moving theappliance. Always wear safety gloves.• Do not turn the appliance upside downor tilt it! This may cause oil to leak fromthe pump and damage the equipment.• Respect the minimum distance fromother appliances.• Make sure the appliance is installedand secured to a fixed structure.• The sides of the appliance must beadjacent to other equipment or unitshaving the same height.2.2 Electrical connectionCAUTION!Risk of fire and electric shock.• All the electrical connections must bemade by a qualified electrician.• The appliance must be earthed.• Make sure that all the electrical datashown on the data plate correspondto those of the system. Otherwise,contact an electrician.• Always use an electrical outlet with acorrectly installed protective contact.• Do not use multi-plug adapters orextension cables.• Make sure not to damage the mainsplug and the mains cable. If the powercable must be replaced, this should becarried out by our Assistance Centre.• Shock protection devices must befastened in such a way that theycannot be removed without tools.• Connect the mains plug to the mainssocket only once installation has beencompleted.• Do not connect the mains plug if themains socket is loose.• Do not pull the mains cable todisconnect the appliance. Pull only themains plug.• Use only suitable isolation devices:circuit breakers, fuses (screw typefuses must be removed from the fuseholder), earth fault current releasesand relays.• The electric system must be equippedwith an isolation device that allowsyou to disconnect the appliance fromthe mains at every pole. The isolationdevice must have a contact openingwidth of a minimum 3 mm.• This appliance complies with the EECdirectives.
