22 818 1703-01/1Temperature AdjustmentWith the individual buttons for temperature adjustment the desiredtemperatures in the refrigerator and in the freezer compartment can beadjusted independently of one another.0 Press either the „+“ (WARMER) or „-“ (COLDER) button.The temperature display switches over and the DESIRED temperaturecurrently set flashes on the temperature display.0 To adjust to a warmer temperature, press the „+“ button. To adjust to acolder temperature, press the „-“ button. The changed setting is imme-diately displayed on the temperature display.The temperature is adjusted by one display field with each press of abutton.Note: From a food science point of view, +5 °C for the refrigeratorcompartment and -18 °C for the freezer compartment should be consi-dered cold enough as a storage temperature.3 When the buttons are not further pressed after an adjustment has beenmade, after a short period (approx. 5 sec.) the temperature display swit-ches over and again displays the ACTUAL temperature in the refrigera-tor- or freezer compartment. The display changes from flashing tocontinuous illumination.Important! Please check red warning display and temperature displayregularly to assure maintenance of the storage temperature.FAST CHILL/FAST FREEZEFAST CHILLThe FAST CHILL function is suited for quick cooling of largequantities of goods in the refrigerator, e.g. drinks andsalads for a party.0 The FAST CHILL function is switched on by pressing the FAST CHILL but-ton. The yellow light illuminates.The FAST CHILL function now provides for intensive cooling. A DESIREDtemperature of +2¯C is automatically selected. The FAST CHILL functionis ended automatically after a period of 6 hours. The originally selectedDESIRED temperature is again valid. The temperature display shows theACTUAL refrigerator temperature.0 The FAST CHILL function can be ended manually at any time by pressingthe FAST CHILL button again. The yellow light goes out.
