Turn the instru-ment OFF and disconnect the unit from all circuits before openingthe case.5.2 CleaningNOTE: Disconnect the instrument from any source of electricity.• Use a soft cloth lightly dampened with soapy water.• Rinse with a damp cloth and then dry with a dry cloth.• Do not use alcohol, solvents or hydrocarbons.5.3 Replacing the Battery• Loosen the two fastening screws on the battery compartment cover,which is located on the bottom of the case (See Figure 24).• Remove the battery compartment cover to gain access to the eight1.5V “AA” batteries.• Replace with new batteries and reassemble the instrument.
