When you place a call on hold, this call may bepicked up by another member of your team (see also the section Holding andTransferring Calls with a Feature Key starting on page 93).Door opener: This activates the door opener.Notes: You can note a call number during a call. Under Dest., enter the numberand a Text, if required, and Save the number. Later, you can then call the numberwith Dial.Intercept: The call numbers of “malicious callers” can be saved in your networkoperator’s exchange (if this service is enabled). The function is also possible if thecaller has already hung up!Hints on Booking Numbers■ Entering a booking number during a call is possible only if the system adminis-trator has activated this function for your user group. Only then will theBooking number menu item be displayed.■ For external connections established by you it is important how the route thatyou are using for the connection has been configured by the system adminis-trator. Among other things, the system administrator specifies whether abooking number is entered through the system terminal menu (and thereforeduring a call). He can, however, also specify that booking numbers must beentered with a code procedure. In that case the booking number must beentered before the call is initiated and the connection is made. It is enteredafter the routing code and before the actual destination number. In this case itis not possible to enter the booking number during the call.■ You can also programme the function “Enter booking number” to a feature key(see also Programming Functions (Features) starting on page 128). Via thisfeature key you can then enter the booking number during the conversion. Toprogramme, select the Connections: 2ƒDial: 9ƒBooking numberentry from the Main menu. You can define a booking number that will besaved to the feature key. If you do not define a booking number, then you can –after pressing the feature key – enter “any” booking number. Ask your systemadministrator how long a booking number can be (this depends on the systemconfiguration) and which booking numbers already exist, if any.
