Personalizing Your Phone54eud-0840/2.0 — I7.6 — 08.2007Configuring KeysThis section explains how to assign phone numbers and functions to a Foxkey or configurable key.n Available keysYou can assign phone numbers or functions to one of the 10 configurable keys. These are acces-sible at all times.You can assign each key with a specific type so you can trigger a particular action by simplypressing that key. Choice available:• Number key: To store the phone number• Function key: Activate/deactivate functionn Storing a Phone Number under a Key – Number KeyYou want to retrieve a frequently used phone number with a single keystroke rather than enterit digit by digit.On each configurable key you can store two call numbers and the associated names. The keyautomatically becomes a number key. To store a phone number under a configurable key:Press the key and hold it down for a moment.fi Display shows choice of key types.Number key Scroll to Number key and press the Select Foxkey.fi The display shows the current phone number. Press the Modify Foxkey, enter or modify the phone number, and confirm withthe Ok Foxkey. If you have an Office DKBM expansion key module connected,you can also select the number type (business number, mobile number or pri-vate number).fi The display shows the current name. Press the Modify Foxkey, enter or modify the name, and confirm with the OkFoxkey.fi The first allocated function is now stored. Press the Modify Foxkey, enter or modify the phone number, and confirm withthe Ok Foxkey.fi The display shows the current name. Press the Modify Foxkey, enter or modify the name, and confirm with the OkFoxkey.fi The second allocated function is now stored.Notes:• The text mode for letter input is automatically activated.• You can use the Correction key to delete any incorrect character.****
