Itmixes traditional circuit-switched telephone calls (TDM) and packetVoice-over-IP (VoIP) calls within the same conference, initiated from either achannel within Integrated Services Digital Network (ISDN) Primary RateInterface (PRI) lines, or from its VoIP ports using Session Initiation Protocol (SIP)and/or H.323 signaling.The Aastra CNX has four T1/E1 ports that allow up to 30 participants and 15active conferences (30-port unit), and are upgradable to either 60 participants and30 active conferences (60-port unit), or 120 participants and 60 activeconferences. It supports permanent and scheduled (temporary) conferencing, withor without a moderator. Conference booking and invitations are made via the webinterface.
