1424-EN/LZT103 088 Uen H 2014-04-03 43O UTGOING C ALLS7 Outgoing CallsThis chapter describes how to make calls, how to conceal your numberfrom being displayed to the person you are calling, and how to redial thelast external number dialed.7.1 CallingTo make a call, you can either select a contact in one of the phonebooksavailable, or get the phone number or extension from the call list. Youcan also use shortcuts, if available.• Available phonebooks are the local phonebook stored on thephone and the company phonebook stored centrally on a server,see 9 Contacts on page 55.• The 25 last received phone numbers are stored in the call list alongwith the latest dialed and missed phone numbers, see 8 Call List onpage 53.• It is possible to save a phone number as a shortcut, see 10 Short-cuts on page 61.If the number you wish to dial is not stored in any phonebook, nor foundin the call list, you enter the desired phone number or extension with thekeypad.To call a number that is not stored in the call list or among your contacts,do the following:1. Dial the number and press or Call.The number is shown on the display while dialing.2. If needed, press Clear to erase and edit the number.Use the navigation key to step and add or delete a digit in themiddle of a number.It is possible to turn on the tone sender in a pre-dialled number bylong pressing.Note: If you receive a queue tone when the digit(s) to get an externalline are dialed (if the feature Least Cost Routing is used in thesystem), keep waiting. Once a line becomes free you will receivea dial tone. If a warning tone is heard, the selected line is markedExpensive.
