36The multi-line functionThe multi-line function*A multi-line set has several directory numbers. Each directory number is stored on aprogrammable key.This function is mainly used to program on the same set:- a standard number that you give to everyone.- a private number that you only give to some people; this can also be a backup number.Examples:For a Director - private number for her own calls- unfiltered private numberFor an Assistant - number filtered by his assistant- number intended to receive the Director's filtered calls.Note: this function will be programmed by your system operator.Caution!Your system operator has just programmed the multi-line function on your set.You can use the features assigned to your set by assigning them to the directory numbers thatyou have, as you require. Each directory number can also be programmed in multi-key(managing enquiry calls).A set of 10 personal abbreviated numbers is assigned to each directory number.Example: you have 20 personal abbreviated numbers for two directory numbers.You have a voice mailbox associated to each directory number. Forwarding is programmedindependently and with secret access codes that may be different.*Depending on the programming done by the system operator
