Place the board so thatthe lever-hook of thesocket is on your leftside. Use your left thumband forefinger to holdthe lever hook, pull itaway from the retentiontab. Rotate the lever tofully open position.2. Use your right-thumb toraise the load plate. Liftit up to fully openposition.3. Use your right thumband forefinger to graspthe CPU package. Besure to grasp on theedge of the substrate,and face the Pin-1indicator toward thebottom-left side. Aim atthe socket and place theCPU package verticaldown into the socket.4. Visually inspect if theCPU is seated well intothe socket. Thealignment key must belocated in the notch ofpackage.
