3-22 Chapter 33-8. PC Health StatusYou can set the warning temperature for your computer system, and you can check the fan speeds andpower supply voltages of your computer system. The features are useful for monitoring all the importantparameters within your computer system. We call it the PC Health Status.Shutdown When CPUFAN Fail:Two options are available: Disabled or Enabled. The default setting is Disabled. If you set it to Enabled,if CPUFAN out of order, system will force to shutdown to protect the processor not overheat.CPU Shutdown Temperature:Five options are available: Disabled 60℃/140℉ 65℃/149℉ 70℃/158℉ 75℃/167℉.The default setting is Disabled. You can set the processor shutdown temperature here. If the processortemperature exceeds the settings value, system will force to shutdown to protect the processor notoverheat.CPU Warning Temperature:This item lets you select the temperature at which you want the system to send out a warning message tothe PC speakers of when the temperature goes beyond either limit. You can select the temperatures youwant. The ranges are from 50°C to 120°C, default setting is 75°C/。All Voltages, Fans Speed and Thermal Monitoring:These unchangeable items list the current status of the CPU and environment temperatures, fan speeds,and system power voltage.NOTE: The hardware monitoring features for temperatures, fans and voltages will occupy the I/Oaddress from 294H to 297H.
