Attach anew color by rotating the cap clockwiseuntil it stops.A Snap Switch Cap is included with yourBIG or LITTLE Step-by-Step. Place apicture symbol on the switch top andsecure by snapping the Switch Cap over it.Connect one 9-volt battery at thebottom of the device. Rotate theVolume ON/OFF knob to turn thedevice on.Note: The LITTLE Step-by-Step includesa detachable Mounting Base that must beremoved to access the battery door. Pressthe tab and slide to remove the base.OFFRECORD SWITCH TOY/APPL.Record a Series of Messages4 Exit Record Mode5RepeatRepeatPress and Hold the switch top, begin speaking when youhear a beep Release when finished. Repeat for additionalmessages in a sequence.Note: RECORD Light will flash when recording.Press and Release the RECORD button to exit RecordMode. Your BIG or LITTLE Step-by-Step is ready for use.Note: Your Choice device has 4 minutes of recording time.The RECORD light will turn yellow and flash when only 10seconds of recording time remains.OFFRECORD SWITCH TOY/APPL.Insert Batteries and Turn On2Select Level / Enter Record Mode3Press and Release6Press the switch top to play a message. You canadvance to the next message in the level if youinterrupt the current message by pressing the switchtop again. For example, to get to the third message,press the switch top once to start the messages, thentwo more times to interupt the message and advanceto the desired third message.We recommend that while recording each messagein your level that you state a prompt message in thebeginning, pause, and then continue recording yourmessage before ending the message. This will givethe user a chance to decide if they want to play thismessage or another.Note: After a message completes playing a newpress will begin with the first message of thesequence.Playing MessagesSelect desired levelOFFRECORD SWITCH TOY/APPL.Press and Hold the RECORD button untilthe RECORD Light activates, then release.
