The first time you start Media Center, onthe setup page, select Continue, and thenselect Custom.3. When you reach the page titled Get theMost from Windows Media Center, selectYes to allow Media Center to downloadalbum cover art, DVD cover art, current TVguide listings, information from onlinemedia services, and other usefulinformation.Step2. Optimize how Windows MediaCenter looks on your display.The Display Configuration wizard is helpful forgetting the best image quality possible on yourTV screen or computer monitor.The wizard takes you through the main part ofthe process with a series of easy-to-understandquestions. If you’re unsure about the details ofyour hardware setup, such as the name of acable or the type of display you have, look atthe illustrations in the wizard—they can helpyou figure out what type of connection you’reusing. When you’ve finished answering thequestions, and you’re happy with the way yourdisplay looks, exit the wizard. If you’re notsatisfied, you can find additional displayoptions under Adjust display controls.You can return to the Display Configurationwizard any time:1. Using a Media Center remote, press thegreen Start button .2. On the Windows Media Center start screen,scroll to Tasks, select Settings, selectGeneral, select Windows Media CenterSetup, and then select Configure YourTV or Monitor.Step3. Set up your speakersIf your computer is connected to a surroundsound system, you can use the Speaker Setupwizard.
