56> ENV POLARITYDetermines which way the filter envelope will sweep the cutoff frequency of filter 2. Normalpolarity means that attack sweeps upwards and decay sweeps downwards. Inverse polarityeffectively turns the filter envelope upside-down i.e. attack sweeps downwards and decaysweeps upwards.Filter EnvelopeThe filter envelope is used to automaticallycontrol the cutoff frequency over a certaintime period. In order for these parameters tohave any effect on the sound, Filter 1 EnvAmt and/or Filter 2 Env Amt must be set to apositive value.> ATTACKThis determines how long it takes for the envelope to reach its peak.> DECAYThis determines how long it takes for the envelope to decay from its peak to the sustain level.> SUSTAINThis determines the level at which the envelope will sustain.> SUSTAIN TIMEThis determines how long the envelope will remain at the sustain level. At 0, the sustain levelwill be maintained as long as the key is held. At positive values, the envelope will rise back upto its peak level (the higher the value, the quicker the rise). At negative values, the envelopewill sweep down to its minimum level (the lower the value, the quicker the fall).> RELEASEThis determines how long the envelope will take to fall to its minimum level after the key isreleased. The higher the value, the longer it will take.indigo powercore manual.book Page 56 Thursday, April 22, 2004 12:23 PM
