User Guide for AIR-104/AIR-204 5-2Trigger eventsIn addition to the date and time of the event, the Detail column records the IP address ofthe network device triggering the connection, the IP address that the network device isattempting to contact, the TCP port of the application that is triggering the connection, and the protocol of the attempted transmission.Connect eventsIn addition to the date and time of the event, the Detail column records the destinationphone number and the connection rate.Setting the timeThe AIR-104/204 maintains a real-time clock, which is used to provide timestamps forentries in the Connection Log and the System Log. The AIR-104/204’s internal clockalso controls Internet access time restrictions. For more information about theConnection Log and Internet access time restrictions, see the relevant sections in thischapter; for more information about messages that may appear in the System Log, seeAppendix A.The AIR-104/204 does not contain a battery to back up its internal clock, so the time willnot be maintained across a system reset or power-down. Therefore, in order to utilizeproperly any feature that requires the clock to be accurate, you will need to reset the AIR-104/204’s clock to the correct date and time after a system reset or power-down.However, please note that when you set your local time zone and current DaylightSavings Time status, these indicators are stored in flash memory; therefore they do NOTneed to be re-entered after a system reset or power-down.Note: Unsaved configuration items are automatically saved to non-volatile flashmemory every 30 minutes. They can also be manually saved by the SaveConfiguration procedure described in Chapter 6.Chapter 5 Advanced Configuration
