It allows you to reconfigure your hard disk drive, and to reinstall your Acer preload, includingoperating system and drivers.In case of any emergency such as hard disk drive failure, you may find that the only way to get the system runningagain is to rebuild the hard disk drive to its original factory state. Acer CPR gives you a simple way to completelyreinstall the Acer preload that originally came preinstalled on your hard disk drive. In such an emergency, useAcer CPR to rebuild your hard disk drive. Take note of these precautions.A rebuild of the hard disk drive will remove all dataand partitions from the system disk. Files whichhave not been backed up will be lost whenrebuilding your hard disk drive. Acer shall not beliable for any loss of data or any other incidental, specialor consequential damages. Acer’s responsibility for AcerCPR utility is limited to the terms of the Limited ProductWarranty with your system.The Acer CPR utility has been programmed to operateonly with specific Acer systems. IT WILL NOT WORKWITH ANY OTHER COMPUTER SYSTEM.Please be aware that all software on the AcerResource CD is subject to the terms of the softwarelicense agreements that come packaged with yourAcer system.
