First call the Department’s Customer Service Centre on 9264 5555 (metropolitan) or1800 012 828 (country).2. Use the original box and packaging to transport your notebook to and from the AcerRepair Centre.3. If your notebook must be collected you will be advised of the courier pickup details.Make a photocopy of the Repair Shipping form (Appendix E on page 36) and fill out thedetails as provided by the Customer Service Centre. Attach this to the outside of the boxin which the notebook is packed and keep it ready for courier pickup. Please ensure yournotebook is ready for collection on the date agreed.4. If the unit is to be sent to Acer for a repair, make sure that you have a backup of all yourdata. Acer DOES NOT guarantee that the data on your hard disk will be intact afterrepairs.Make sure that the unit is packed properly and attach a list of contents to it (forexample, AC Adaptor, extra battery, etc.).Make sure it is ready for the courier to pick it up at the agreed time.Contact the Customer Service Centre to check the status of your repairs.
