25Testing the System1. After running for a few minutes, fill a glass with water from the system’soutput. The water should be saturated with bubbles and become clear in20 to 30 seconds (depending on glass size).2. Observe the system’s reaction to water being turned on and off at thedestination site. The system should begin operating a few seconds afterwater use begins, and stop operating between 10-30 seconds after wateruse has ceased.3. Examine the system and all associated equipment, including the filters, forleaks and to ensure proper operation.4. Collect water samples. See Water Sampling Instructions from the lab to besubmitted to and submit samples to an accredited laboratory for analysis.5. Record all site specific information of the situation and installation.6. NOTE: System should start within a few seconds of water flowing from a tapand run up to 30seconds after the tap is stopped.
