The subwoofer shouldn’t bein contact with large rocks or large empty holes. You will need a wire that has at least two conductors; one that can beidentified as the positive and the other as the negative. All two conductorwires have some means of identifying which conductor is which, but attimes this identification may be subtle. It’s crucial that you keep trackof which wire you use for positive (+) and negative (-). Typically if thewires are colored red and black, the red wire is used for positive and theblack wire is used for negative. You can choose whichever color of wireyou want to be positive and negative as long as you remain consistentthroughout the install.Your amplifier, speakers and subwoofer will use red for positive and blackfor negative. It is very important to be certain that the same wire thatis attached to the positive connector in the amplifier is attached to thepositive connector at the speaker.About Speaker WireDig a 5” trench where you plan on laying out the wire. Run thewire from the amplifier to your first speaker location.
