To display the sta-tus bar, press Alt-Esc until the status bar appears.Reconstructing the Data at a Scheduled TimeBecause reconstructing data may slow a system, you may want toschedule this operation for a time when system use is light. You canuse the Scheduler to start reconstructing the data automatically at aspecified time. For details, see Scheduling Tasks on page 6-8.Canceling ReconstructionYou can cancel reconstruction while it is under way, using either ofthe following procedures:n From the Reconstruct menu, select Abort Reconstruct.n At the Reconstruct status bar screen, press Esc. From the menuthat appears, select Abort.An onscreen message confirms that the operation was aborted.To cancel a scheduled operation, delete it from the schedule. Forinstructions, see Deleting a Scheduled Task on page 6-9.Changing the Priority for Reconstructing DataAs with verifying data, you can change the priority assigned toreconstructing data while the operation is under way. Use one of thefollowing methods:n From the Reconstruct menu, select Change Priority. A promptappears, indicating the current priority and asking for the newpriority. Type a number from 0 through 9, where 0 is the lowestpriority.n From the status bar screen, press Esc. From the menu thatappears, select Change Priority. When prompted to select anew priority, type a number from 0 through 9, where 0 is thelowest priority.The operation continues automatically, running at the new priority.
