You can define I/Oports and IRQ values for as many as four COM ports and the COMPort Assignment Order (the order in which the ports will be selectedfor configuring Modem or Fax/Modem cards). This order is eitherInsertion order (First is the first card inserted) or Socket order (Firstis the card inserted in the first PCMCIA socket). You can also specifywhether to enable Audio and Ring Indicate Wakeup mode on cardsthat support those features (see Figure B-4).To change the COM Port Order, position the cursor under the valueand type in the new value.To change the Port Address or IRQ line, position the cursor underthe value and type the new value.To select the Assignment Order, click on the desired item, or high-light it and press the Spacebar. The selected item is marked with abullet.To enable/disable Audio or Ring Indicate, click on the item, or high-light it and press the Spacebar (x indicates it is enabled).Figure B-4.
