It must always be the last switchin the array creation command sequence and it must always befollowed by a drive address as discussed in Device Address Syntax onpage 4-2.Multiple drive addresses on a command line must always beseparated by commas.This switch can also be used to introduce a list of comma-separateddrive addresses in any command that uses such addresses. Whencreating multilevel RAID 0/1 or 0/5 arrays, separate drive groupswith a plus sign (+). The number of drives supported are listedbelow:Logical Drive Creation and Deletion-c, -d Specify controller IDThis switch specifies the RAID controller to which all subsequentparameters will apply. It is required for all operations. You canspecify a device which is attached to the controller, from which thecontroller number will be derived, or you can enter the relativecontroller number directly. Use –c to specify the controller using the ID assigned to thecontroller by your operating system. Use –d to specify the controller ID in BIOS format. Adapteccontrollers are numbered starting from 0 according to their PCIslot location.
