54 - FORM NO. 56043111 - Adhancer ™ELECTRICAL SYSTEMFUNCTIONAL OVERVIEW OF MAIN CONTROL BOARDThe primary function of the main control board, A1, is to control and coordinate the scrub, detergent, recovery and drive wheel systems. When the Scrub On switchis pressed to actuate the auto scrub mode, the main control board lowers the scrub deck to the operating position and enables the solution system, vacuum motor, drive wheel motor and detergent pump.Note: Once the auto scrub mode has been actuated and the deck is down, the Operator can disable the solution system, vacuum motor and detergent systemindividually if desired by pressing the corresponding switch. With all systems enabled, moving the drive paddle toward the forward position starts the wheel drive motor, brush motors, vacuum motor, solution pump anddetergent pump. Note that when the drive paddle is in neutral or is moved to the reverse position, the main control board will switch off the solution system anddetergent pump.Note: See the Know Your Machine section in this manual for a complete explanation of machine operation. The secondary function of the main control is to detect any system failures and display an error code on the display panel, or store it in the main control board’s recallmemory mode. The error code(s) are used to help the serviceperson determine the fault and to quickly guide in repairing a specific system malfunction.Note: See the Troubleshooting Guide for further information. An additional special feature of the main control board is to change program settings for a set of specificmachine functions. See the Electrical System/Main Control Programming Options section in this manual for further information.TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDEAny error codes detected by main control board will be displayed on the LCD display panel as they occur. If more than one error exists, the display will sequencethrough the error codes at one-second intervals. The error will display as a mechanical wrench symbol followed by a two-digit code. For example, 03 wouldbe a drive system fault. When troubleshooting any “Fault Description” noted with a double asterisk (**) follow the instructions for entering the Service Test Mode inthe control board’s special programs. See the Electrical System/Main Control Programming Options section in this manual.
