AIMB-281 User Manual 343.1 IntroductionAMI BIOS is extremely popular and has been integrated into numerous mother-boards for over a decade. The AMI BIOS setup menu is also referred to as BIOS,BIOS setup, or CMOS setup.With the AMI BIOS setup program, users can modify BIOS settings to control thespecial computer features. The setup program comprises several menus and config-urable options. The basic navigation of the AIMB-281 setup screens is described inthis chapter.3.2 BIOS SetupThe AIMB-281 system is equipped with AMI BIOS as well as a CMOS setup utilitythat allows users to configure settings and activate certain system features.The CMOS setup utility saves all configuration settings to the CMOS RAM of themotherboard.
