Thespecifications and features are described as follows:5.1.1 ChipsetThe PCM-5820 Series uses a Cyrix CX5530 chipset for its SVGAcontroller. It supports many popular 18-bit LCD displays andconventional analog CRT monitors. The VGA BIOS supportsLCD. In addition, it also supports interlaced and non-interlacedanalog monitors (color and monochrome VGA) in high-resolutionmodes while maintaining complete IBM VGA compatibility.Digital monitors (i.e. MDA, CGA, and EGA) are NOT supported.Multiple frequency (multisync) monitors are handled as if theywere analog monitors.5.1.2 Display memoryWith 2 ~ 5 MB share memory, the VGA controller can drive CRTdisplays or color panel displays with resolutions up to 1024 x 768at 64 K colors. The display memory can be expanded to 4 MB inBIOS for true-color resolution of 1024 x 768.
