There are several differentmethods of performing this conversion.Options: Dynamic Threshold,Dynamic Threshold (AD), FixedProcessing, Halftone 1~5, ErrorDiffusion.Dynamic Threshold: SelectingDynamic Threshold allows the scannerto dynamically evaluate each documentto determine the optimal threshold valueto produce the highest quality image.This is used to scan mixed documentcontaining faint text, shaded background,or color background with a single setting.If Dynamic Threshold is selected,Threshold, Brightness, and Contrast arenot available.Dynamic Threshold (AD): SelectingDynamic Threshold (AD) to performthe enhanced mode of the DynamicThreshold feature. However, using thismode may slow down your scanningspeed.Sensitivity of Dynamic ThresholdOccasionally your scanned image maycontain small dots or speckles. To removethese spots, increase the sensitivity valueby moving the bar to the right. The valueranges from 1 to 30. The default is 20.
