Quick Guide3-33.2.1 Scanning Single-Page DocumentIf you need to scan single-page document, choose your fileformat to be either JPEG or PDF to save your single-pageimage as a separate JPEG or PDF file.To save your document to a JPEG or PDF file format,1. Select “JPEG” or “PDF” file format by pressing the Fileformat button repeatedly. The LED for the selected fileformat will be illuminated.2. If “Normal” is not selected, press the Image Mergebutton until the Normal LED is illuminated. “Normal” (1-in-1) means you do not need to merge your pages into asingle image.3. Place your single-page document on the glass with yourtext Face Down.4. Press the Scan button to start scanning. During scanning,the LED of the selected file format will be flashing. Whenthe scan is finished, the LED will keep steadily on.5. You can find your scanned image in the folder of “DCIM”of your USB flash drive. If JPEG is selected, a subfolder of“PHOTO” will be created. If PDF is selected, a subfolder of“DOC” will be created. The prefix of the file name will beIMG for JPEG file or DOC for PDF file.
