2-22.2 Unlocking Your ScannerThe scan unit is locked during transport to protect the scanningmechanism from being damaged. Be sure to unlock the scanunit before using the machine. Turn over the machine tolocate the lock switch. Move the lock switch to the"unlocked position".If you need to transport themachine, please move thelock switch to the “Locked”position. Before doing this,make sure the scan unit atthe left end of the glass asindicated. (If not, pleaseturn on the machine. Whenthe scan unit moves to theleft end, turn off themachine.)The scan unitmust be atthis positionbefore beinglocked.“Locked Position”“Unlocked Position”
