See also “UNIXSystems” on page 17.You should also check the SCSI chain and ensure that all external CD-ROM drives are switched on and that only the last unit is terminated.Make sure that the external drives are switched on before the AxisCD-ROM server. If you are using an Axis 851 or Axis 951 CD-ROMServer with external CD-ROM drives, check that the internaltermination is off. See also “SCSI Devices and Termination” on page12.Please note that Microsoft Windows Network (NetBEUI) must beenabled to access the CD-ROM server using SMB.CD-ROM Software Will Not RunIf you have successfully inserted a CD-ROM, but the software on itrefuses to run or produces error messages, the software may expect theCD-ROM data to be at root level. In the Microsoft and IBM networkoperating system environments, you will then have to assign a driveletter to that particular disk. See “Accessing CD-ROMs” on page 25.Please note that some CD-ROM software, for example the single userversion of “Computer Select”, will not run on a CD-ROM server.
