2. Beginning to use DVR recordera) Battery ChargingThere are two methods for battery charging:1: Using a USB cable (not supplied) to connect the DVR to a computer.2: Using the vehicle power socket.During charging, using the supplied cigarette power lead, the indicator glows red.When charging is complete, the indicator automatically extinguishes. The wholecharging process takes about 4 hours.b) Insert a memory cardCarefully insert Micro SD memory card into the slot, observing direction indicatoron the machine body until card clicks into position.To remove the card, push down the SD card. The card will pop up and can beremoved from unit.Notice::KHQXVLQJDPHPRU\FDUGLQWKHXQLWIRUWKH¿UVWWLPHSOHDVHIRUPDWWKHPHPRU\card to be compatible with the machine. Use the unit or attached tool software( ) to format the memory card (formatting the memory card by computeris not supported). Formatting will permanently delete all data on the memory card,including any protected images.
