About this DocumentThis document includes instructions for installing AXISQ7900 on your network. Check the laws in your localregion before using this product for surveillance purposes.Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC)This equipment has been designed and tested to fulfill appli-cable standards for:• Radio frequency emission when installed according to theinstructions and used in its intended environment.• Immunity to electrical and electromagnetic phenomenawhen installed according to the instructions and used inits intended environment.USA - Depending on the characteristics of the electricalenvironment, the product may be installed using unshieldedcables (UTP), in which case the following is applicable: Thisequipment has been tested using unshielded cables (UTP)and found to comply with the limits for a Class A digitaldevice, pursuant to part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limitsare designed to provide reasonable protection againstharmful interference when the equipment is operated in acommercial environment. This equipment generates, uses,and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installedand used in accordance with the instruction manual, maycause harmful interference to radio communications.Operation of this equipment in a residential area is likely tocause harmful interference in which case the user will berequired to correct the interference at his own expense.Canada - This Class A digital apparatus complies withCanadian ICES-003.Europe - This digital equipment fulfills therequirements for RF emission according to the Class A limitof EN 55022.
