Usein accordance with manufacturer’s instructions.8) Do not use near heat sources such asradiators, stoves or other devices that mayproduce heat.9) Do not defeat the safety purpose of thepolarization or grounding-type plug. Apolarized plug has two blades with one widerthan the other. A grounding-type plug has twoblades and a third grounding prong. The wideblade or the third prong is provided for yoursafety. If the provided plug does not fit youroutlet, consult an electrician for replacementof the obsolete outlet.10) Protect the power cord from being walked onor pinched, particularly at the plug and at thepoint where it exits the MATRIX-200 amplifier.11) Only use attachments / accessoriesrecommended by B-52 Pro-Audio.12) Use caution when transporting the system toavoid injury from tip-over.13) Unplug the MATRIX-200 during lightningstorms or when not in use.14) Refer all servicing to qualified personnel.Servicing is required when the MATRIX-200has been damaged in any way, such as thepower-cord or plug is damaged, liquid hasbeen spilled into the cabinets, the unit hasbeen exposed to moisture or rain, does notoperate normally, or has been dropped.15) The MATRIX-200 is not intended for outdoorfixed installations or in high moisture areas.Moisture can damage the speakers and cancause corrosion of electrical contacts. Keepspeakers out of extended or intense directsunlight. The speaker surfaces may fade andbe damaged by long-term exposure to intenseultra-violent light.IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATIONCAUTIONRISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCKDO NOT OPENHEED ALL WARNINGSWARNING: To reduce the risk or fire orelectrical shock do not expose this equip-ment to rain or moisture.Caution: Connect the power cable only after you have made absolutelysure the local mains voltage matches the voltage specified on the device.if you connect to the wrong voltage, you may destroy the electroniccomponents of the MatRiX-200 system.• Output stage with discrete devices, not integratedIC amps• Output power of 2 x 100w RMS with significantheadroom for peaks• Comprehensive amplifier and speaker protectioncircuitry to guard against short circuits, DCoffsets, over-heating, turn-on thumps, subsonicand supersonic frequencies.• Built-in stereo clip limiter• Equalization customized to enhance and optimizespeaker system performance• Output for stereo headphones on rear panel• Very efficient cooling, utilizing a large heatsinkand two direct flow fans• Power supply with low-noise torodial transformerand a dual voltage (115/230Vac) selector switch• Four channels with both balanced XLR mic inputsand unbalanced 1/4” jack line level inputsn 15Vdc phantom power on balanced XLRinputs for condenser microphonesn Independant PAN, TONE and EFFECT LEVELcontrols on each channel• One stereo channel for variety of sources:n 1/4” TRS-style Stereo Phone Jackn 3.5mm Stereo Jack for MP3 / CD playersn Dedicated mono 1/4” Jack INSTRUMENTinput with frequency response contouredfor acoustical instruments• Low distortion, low noise circuitry• PLAYBACK input/output RCA connectors withLEVEL control• PATCH section to connect optional externalprocessors, external effects and foot switch• 3-band MASTER EQ section• XLR output for external subwoofer.• Sub switch not only engages lowfrequency output but also removes deep bassfrom satellites thus increasing dynamic rangeand lowering overall system distortion• Eight built-in high quality DSP effectsn Level control to mix processed signal withmain signaln INPUT/MASTER switch to route effects toeither Master section or to individualchannels• Sophisticated mixer topology allows thecombination of external effect devices to beused in combination with internal DSP• Dual 6.5” drivers optimized for D’Appolito(mirrored woofers) configuration• 1” exit phenolic tweeter on exponential hornideally matches dual 6.5” speakersDimensions: 20” (W) x 32“ (H) x 15” (D)Weight: 80 (lbs)Stereo Power amplifier features5-Channel Mixer featuresBuilt-in DSP EffectsLoudspeakersComplete systemNote: Specifications are subject to change without noticeINSIDE THIS INSTRuCTION MANuAL |
