Remove LL O 2 cap by twistingcounter clockwise.3 Remove the O 2 cap. Gently pull LL O 2 sensor out of itssocket.4 Properly dispose of the old sensor. Properly dispose of the old LL O 2sensor.5 Record the 3-digit date code fromthe new sensor for later use.Record the 3-digit date code fromthe new sensor for later use.6 Engage the nub on the new sensorwithin the slot on the cap's side andtwist to secure the cap and sensortogether.Plug new O 2 sensor into its socket.7 Install the cap and sensor unit by:• Aligning the ribs on the sides ofthe sensor with thecorresponding shape in thebase.• Inserting the pins into theconnectors in the base.Install the O 2 sensor cap by aligningit toward the “open” position(12 o’clock) as shown in the diagrambelow, then twisting the capclockwise approximately 40° to the"closed" position (2 o’clock).8 Reattach tubing. Reattach tubing.9 Turn on the unit and enter the 3-digit sensor date code via the SetupMenu selection for “O 2 Sensor Type”(p 51). Then enter the current date.Turn on the unit and enter the 3-digitsensor date code via the Setup Menuselection for “O 2 Sensor Type” (p 51).Then enter the current date.5.4.4.
