H25-IR CalibrationInstruction 3015-5286 273.5 Restoring Factory CalibrationNOTE: Factory calibration cannot be restored if the instrument was calibrated using an external leak source.Restore an instrument to its factory calibration value as follows:Display the Calibration Data menu by first pressing both the ENT and ESC buttons on either the instrument’sfront panel or Smart probe at the same time to display the Main menu. Next, use the Up and Down buttons tohighlight “CAL DATA”, and then press ENT to display the Calibration Data menu.Main Menu:SYSTEMLOGSETUPSCAL DATADIAGNOSTICSFrom the Calibration Data menu, use the Up and Down buttons to highlight “RESTORE FACTORY CAL”, andthen press ENT to display the RESTORE FACTORY CAL screen.Press the ENT button to confirm restoring the instrument to its factory calibration values.3.6 Storing a New Factory CalibrationFor all models fitted with an internal leak source, "factory" calibration data is stored in memory and used tovalidate all subsequent internal calibrations performed by the user. An internal calibration failure will occur whenthe calibration data collected during an internal calibration cycle, performed by the user, deviates from the"factory" calibration data. This can occur when the internal particulate filter needs to be replaced or if a probe ischanged. When the internal filter or probe is replaced, or the optical sensor, pump or pneumatics are serviced,a new "factory" calibration must be stored. This is accomplished by first performing an internal calibration, whichmay fail due to the changes to the instrument, then pressing the ENT and CAL keys together.Press ENT to confirm. This will take the data collected from the calibration just completed and store it as the"factory" or reference calibration for validation of all future internal calibrations.Calibration Data Menu:CAL TYPEEXT RATEEXT GAS TYPECAL FACTORRESTORE FACTORY CALCAL INTERVALENFORCE CAL INTERVALLAST CAL DATERESTORE FACTORY CALHIT ENTER TO CONFIRMPRESS ENTER TOSTORE LAST CALAS REFERENCEg/yrFAULTSETUP NO.1SM SRCHLAST CAL HASBEEN STOREDAS REFERENCEg/yrFAULTSETUP NO.1SM SRCH
