Installation and repair should be done by a qualified service person. The appliance should be inspected beforeuse and at least annually by a professional service person. More frequent cleaning may be required due toexcessive lint from carpeting, et cetera. It is imperative that control compartments, burners and circulating airpassageways of the appliance be kept clean.13. Do not use this appliance if any part has been under water. Immediately call a qualified service technician toinspect the unit and to replace any part of the control system and any gas control which has been underwater.In the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, the installer or serviceagent shall be a plumber or gas fitter licensed by theCommonwealth of Massachusetts.For the State of Massachusetts, flexible connectors shall notexceed 36 inches in length.For the state of Massachusetts a T-handle gas shut-off valvemust be used on a gas appliance.2
