All internal wiring is complete.The unit is designed for use with or without duct work.Flanges are provided for attaching the supply and returnducts.These instructions explain the recommended methodto install the air cooled self-contained unit and theelectrical wiring connections to the unit.These instructions and any instructions packaged withany separate equipment required to make up the entireair conditioning system should be carefully read beforebeginning the installation. Note particularly “StartingProcedure” and any tags and/or labels attached to theequipment.While these instructions are intended as a generalrecommended guide, they do not supersede anynational and/or local codes in any way. Authoritieshaving jurisdiction should be consulted before theinstallation is made. See Page 3 for information oncodes and standards.Size of unit for a proposed installation should bebased on heat loss/gain calculation made accordingto methods of Air Conditioning Contractors ofAmerica (ACCA). The air duct should be installedin accordance with the Standards of the NationalFire Protection Association for the Installation of AirConditioning and Ventilating Systems of Other ThanResidence Type, NFPA No. 90A, and Residence TypeWarm Air Heating and Air Conditioning Systems,NFPA No. 90B.
