Manual 2100-373Page 12HEAT ANTICIPATIONGroup A and Group B thermostats shown in Table 4have a fixed heat anticipator for stage 1 with noadjustment required. Stage 2 has an adjustableanticipator for the W2 connection and fixed for the W3connection. Both the W2 and W3 circuits arecontrolled by the stage 2 bulb. The only heatanticipator that needs to be checked is stage 2 and itshould be set to match the load carried by the W2circuit. The normal factory wiring provides for onlyone electric heat contactor to be controlled by W2, andthe anticipator should be set at .40A. If special fieldwiring is done, it is best to actually measure the load buta good rule is .40A for each heat contactor controlledby W2.THERMOSTAT INDICATOR LAMPSThe green lamp marked “Check” will come on if thereis any problem that prevents the compressor fromrunning when it is supposed to be.COMPRESSOR MALFUNCTION LIGHTActuation of the green “Check” lamp is accomplishedby a relay output from the heat pump control boardwhich is factory installed. Any condition such as lossof charge, high head pressure, etc., that will preventcompressor from operating will cause green lamp toactivate. This is a signal to the operator of theequipment to place system in emergency heat position.TABLE 4WALL THERMOSTAT AND SUBBASE COMBINATIONStatsomrehT esabbuS serutaeFtnanimoderP540-3048)1671A148T( --- blubyrucreM;taeh.gts2;looc.gts1revoegnahclaunaM710-3048)9211R478T(900-4048)1811L476Q(blubyrucreM;taeh.gts2;looc.gts2revoegnahclaunaM810-3048)4201N478T(010-4048)1621F476Q(blubyrucreM;taeh.gts2;looc.gts2revoegnahclaunaMrootuA240-3048)0701G1158T( ---taeh.gts2;looc.gts1elbammargorP-noNcinortcelErevoegnahclaunaMrootuA940-3048)083-39F1( ---taeh.gts3;looc.gts2cinortcelEelbammargorPrevoegnahclaunaMrootuAIMPORTANT NOTE: The thermostat and subbase combinations shownabove incorporate the following features: Man-Auto fan switch,Off-Heat-Cool-Em.
