Adjustment of the brake wire adjuster bolts● Adjust the pull length for the brake lever by adjusting the brake wireadjuster bolts. Adjust it so that the brake lever has as little play aspossible and the brake does not make any noise when it is released.○ If the brake lever has a lot of play .............The brake force is weakenedand the brake pedal becomes lighter.○ If the brake lever has only a little play .......The brake force is increasedand the brake pedal becomes heavier.2. Adjustment of the spring rod● The brake force and the operating force of the brake pedal can beadjusted by adjusting the nut on the spring rod.○ If the nut is loosen ........... The brake force is weakened and the brakepedal becomes lighter.○ If the nut is tightened ....... The brake force is increased and the brakepedal becomes heavier.○ After the appropriate adjustment has been completed, tighten the locknut securely.
