Maintenance 103Reboot OptionsTable 12.1 describes the options available at the reboot menu.Table 12.1: Reboot OptionsReboot Options DescriptionBarracuda Starts the Barracuda SSL VPN in the normal (default) mode. Thisoption is automatically selected if no other option is specified within thefirst three (3) seconds of the splash screen appearing.Recovery Displays the Recovery Console where you can select the followingoptions:• Perform filesystem repair—Repairs the file system on theBarracuda SSL VPN.• Perform full system re-image—Restores the factory settings onyour Barracuda SSL VPN and clears out all configurationinformation.• Enable remote administration—Initiates a connection to BarracudaCentral that allows Barracuda Networks Technical Support to accessthe system. Another method for enabling this troubleshootingconnection is to click Establish Connection to BarracudaNetworks on the ADVANCED >Troubleshooting page.• Run diagnostic memory test—Runs a diagnostic memory test fromthe operating system. If problems are reported when running thisoption, we recommend running the Hardware_Test option next.Hardware_Test Performs a thorough memory test that shows most memory relatederrors within a two-hour time period. The memory test is performedoutside of the operating system and can take a long time to complete.Reboot your Barracuda SSL VPN to stop the hardware test.
