Sweat maycause corrosion: we recommend therefore that youprotect all metal surfaces outside the plastic coverswith teflon.• Never remove the equipment’s protective casing.CHANGING BATTERIESIf the meter’s display dims considerably ordisappears altogether in the energy saving mode,replace the batteries. Detach the lid of the batterycasing at the back of the meter and remove the oldbatteries. Place the new batteries in the holder (2x 1.5 V AA) and push the battery casing lid backinto place.MALFUNCTIONSNOTE! Despite continuous quality control, defectsand malfunctions caused by individual componentsmay occur in the equipment. In most cases it’sunnecessary to take the whole device in for repair,as it’s usually sufficient to replace the defectivepart. Always give the model, serial number ofyour equipment and in case of malfunctions alsoconditions of use, nature of malfunction and anyerror code.When you encounter unusual behavior fromthe device, contact your local Batavus dealer forservice.If you require spare parts, always give the model,serial number of your equipment and the sparepart number for the part you need. The spare partlist is at the back of this manual.
