Troubleshooting ChecklistTroubleshooting 4-54.2 TROUBLESHOOTING CHECKLISTIf the SmartSwitch is not working properly, refer to Table 4-2 for a checklist of possible problems,causes, and recommended actions to resolve the problem.Table 4-2 Fault IdentificationSymptom Possible CausesAll LEDs off. 1. Installation error - Remove the SmartSwitch and performinstallation in accordance with installation instructions. Checkconnectors for dust or dirt and clean as necessary.2. Device does not have an operable firmware image, and issending out BootP requests in an effort to locate a BootP serveron the network.
