When a channel is muted (either locally or remotely) the asso-ciated channel LED on the channel meter illuminates. See also 4.14Mute.4.11.2 Meter Brightness ControlIt is possible to alter the brightness levels of these meters. This is auseful feature as ambient lighting varies according to where a per-formance is held. For example, an outdoor festival may be held invery bright conditions, thereby requiring very bright and highly con-trasting meters, or conversely a theatrical performance where thereis an importance for audio equipment to emit as little light as possi-ble.From the RM16 root menu (see FIG 4-7.
