The alarm will not stop if youtry to unlock a door any other way.Testing the AlarmTo test the alarm:1. From inside the vehicle, lowerthe driver window and open thedriver door.2. Activate the system by lockingthe doors with the power doorlock switch while the door isopen, or with the RKEtransmitter.3. Get out of the vehicle, close thedoor and wait for the securitylight to go out.4. Then reach in through thewindow, unlock the door with themanual door lock and open thedoor. This should set off thealarm.While the alarm is set, the powerdoor unlock switch will not work.If the alarm does not sound when itshould but the headlamps flash,check to see if the horn works. Thehorn fuse may be blown.
