12Remote Keyless Entry Transmitter Keyless Access SystemLockPress to lock all doors.UnlockPress to unlock the driver’s door only orall doors.Press and hold to lower all windows.♦Note: Use the touch screen to open VehicleSettings >Remote Locking, Unlocking,Starting to change the Remote Lock andUnlock settings.Remote Vehicle StartUse to start the engine from outside the vehicle. See AdaptiveRemote Start on page 13.Vehicle Locator/Panic AlarmPress and release to locate your vehicle. The exterior lamps flashand the horn sounds.Press and hold for three seconds to activate the alarm. The turnsignal lamps flash and the horn sounds for 30 seconds or until thebutton is pressed again.Trunk ReleasePress and hold to open the trunk.Door KeyPress the button (A) to pull the door key out of the transmitter.Use the key to lock/unlock the driver’s door and rear seatbacks.See Keys, Doors and Windows in your Owner Manual.The Keyless Access System enables operation of the doors,ignition and trunk without removing the transmitter from yourpocket or purse. The system will recognize the transmitter when itis within three feet of the doors or trunk.Keyless UnlockingWith the transmitter within range:Press the lock sensor on the driver’s door handle to unlock thedriver’s door; press it again within five seconds to unlock alldoors.Press the lock sensoron a passenger doorhandle to unlock alldoors.Press the touch padabove the license plateto open the trunk.Keyless LockingWith the ignition off, the transmitter removed from the vehicle, andall doors closed:All doors will lock automatically after a short delay, if passivelocking is turned on.Press the lock sensor on any door handle to lock all doorsimmediately.Note: Use the touch screen to open Vehicle Settings >Remote Locking,Unlocking, Starting to change the Keyless Locking and Unlockingsettings.See Keys, Doors and Windows in your Owner ManualA
