The vehicle must bestationary for the assist steps tooperate. To disable the assist steps,press the (Assist Steps) disablebutton on the instrument panel.Press the button again to turn theassist steps back on.FOLDING 2ND-ROW SEATSThe 2nd-row seats fold and tumbleto provide more cargo space andaccess to the 3rd-row seats.To fold and tumble the seat:1. Make sure nothing is under orin front of the seat.2. Fold the seatback forward bylifting the release lever locatedon the outboard side of the seat.3. Tumble the seat forward bylifting the release lever again.To unfold the seat:1. Pull down the seat until it latchesto the floor.2. Lift up the seatback until it locksin place. Pull on the seatback tomake sure it is locked.Power Release Seats (if equipped)To fold andtumble thepowerrelease seat:1. Shift thevehicle intoPark (P).2. Make sure nothing is under or infront of the seat.3. Press the automatic releasebutton located on the panelbehind the rear doors. The seatwill fold and tumble forwardautomatically.The seat must be unfoldedmanually to return it to thesitting position.FOLDING 3RD-ROW SEATSThe split rear seats fold, tumble orcan be removed to provide morecargo space.To fold and tumble the seat:1. Make sure nothing is in front ofthe seat.2.
