See the j “Linking to Other ApplicationPrograms” topic in Chapter 4.■ Photo ButtonWith CanoScan D1250U2F, the Photo button will belinked to PhotoRecord if you installed all the softwareaccording to the “Install the Software” section of theQuick Start Guide. When you click this button, theToolbox will scan the item, start PhotoRecord andtransfer the image file to it.With CanoScan D1250U2F, the Photo button is the onlyone that can be used to start scanning a film directlywithout adjusting settings.f Note• The Photo button can also be linked to otherapplication programs. The method is described in thej “Linking to Other Application Programs” topic inChapter 4.• To scan a film with the other buttons, you have to placea check mark beside the [Use the scanner driver to makeadvanced settings] option and use the ScanGear CS-Uwindow to set up the scan.
