101Playback/ErasingYou can play back images on a television with the supplied AVcable.Viewing Images on a TV set1 Turn off the Camera and the TV.2 Connect the AV cable tothe camera’s A/V OUT ter-minal.zUse the toggle on the wrist strap orslip a fingernail under the edge ofthe camera's DIGITAL terminalcover, lift up and plug the interfacecable in all the way.3 Plug the other ends of theAV cable to the VIDEO INand AUDIO IN jacks on theTV.4 Turn on the TV and switch it to video mode.5 Turn on the camera.z The video output signal can be switched (NTSC or PAL) toaccommodate different regional standards (p. 27).
