Information Displayed on the Screen44Display for Shooting in Dark Conditions during ShootingThe display automatically brightens when shooting in dark conditions,allowing you to check the composition (Night Display function). However, thebrightness of the image on the screen, and the brightness of the actualimage recorded may be different. Noise may appear and the movement ofthe subject on the screen may appear somewhat jagged. This has no effecton the recorded image.Overexposure Warning during PlaybackIn “Detailed Information Display” (p. 43), overexposed areas of the imageflash on the screen.Histogram during Playback● The graph that appears in “DetailedInformation Display” (p. 43) is called thehistogram. The histogram shows thedistribution and amount of brightness ofan image.
