HoodThe lens hood can keep unwanted light out of the lens, andalso protects the lens from rain, snow, and dust.Fit the hood to the hood mount, then turn it in the directionof the arrow to attach it securely .The hood can be reverse-mounted on the lens for storage .• Part of the picture may be blocked if the hood is notattached properly.• When attaching or detaching the hood, grasp the base ofthe hood to turn it. To prevent deformation, do not graspthe rim of the hood to turn it.5.
