5-2TroubleshootingIf you have problems such as “Could not complete installation correctly” or “Digital PhotoProfessional does not work”, check the items described below. If you are using Windows XP Professional or Windows 2000, are you usingthe computer under a user setting other than [Computer administrator] or[Administrator]? You cannot install software if a user setting other than [Computer administrator] or[Administrator] is selected. Select the [Computer administrator] user setting in WindowsXP Professional or the [Administrator] user setting in Windows 2000. For detailedinformation on selecting the user setting, refer to the manuals supplied with yourcomputer. Does your computer meet the system requirements for Digital PhotoProfessional? Check the system requirements (8). Is there enough memory (RAM)? Check the system requirements (8). Is the screen resolution less than [1024 by 768 pixels]? Specify [1024 by 768 pixels] or more for the screen resolution. Is the color quality less than [Medium (16 bit)]? Specify [Medium (16 bit)] or more for the color quality. Are multiple applications running? Exit any application other than Digital Photo Professional. Even though the memory(RAM) that is recommended in the system requirements (8) is installed in the computer,if other applications are running with Digital Photo Professional, the memory (RAM) maynot be sufficient. Did you try to display images other than the image formats that aresupported by Digital Photo Professional? Check the supported image formats (8).Could not complete installation correctly.Digital Photo Professional does not work.Could not display images with Digital Photo Professional.
