59You can correct the standard color temperature for the white balancesetting. This adjustment will have the same effect as using a colortemperature conversion or color compensating filter. Each color can becorrected to one of nine levels. Users familiar with using colortemperature conversion or color compensating filters will find thisfeature handy.1 Select [WB SHIFT/BKT].¡ Select the [m] tab.¡ Press the <V> key to select [WBSHIFT/BKT], then press <0>.s The WB correction/WB bracketingscreen will appear.2 Set the white balance correction.¡ Press the <S> key to move the “ ”mark to the desired position.¡ B is blue, A is amber, M is magenta,and G is green. The color in therespective direction will be corrected.¡ On the upper right, the “SHIFT”indicator shows the bias direction andcorrection amount.¡ To cancel the white balancecorrection, press the <S> key tomove the “ ” to the center so that“SHIFT” indicates “0, 0.”¡ Press <0> to exit the setting andreturn to the menu.3 White Balance CorrectionNSample setting: A2, G1¡ One level of the blue/amber correction is equivalent to 5 mireds of a colortemperature conversion filter.
